Hi Kim Sorry to hear about your experience. I don't think it was at our practice and Id like to offer you a free consult to make sure your getting the help you need. First visit is 90 euro for adults and 60 for student/kids. Its 30 to 40 min long usually. But I've never done one in 10 minutes from memory. Our regular chiropractic sessions after the first visit can be done in less time and start from 50 euros a visit. They aren't based on time if you need longer you can always let the reception know and they can make more time to discuss anything you need or the chiropractor can call you at convenient time. I'm not sure what your complaint was but for a chronic problem that has been there for many years a 6 weeks program might be an effective option but you could also chose to try an exercise program if you havent already. To be honest physiotherapists are mostly better at exercise programs and in the Netherlands they are cheaper also. In alot of insurances they are totally cover in you insurance where chiropractic is likely to be partially covered 25 to 60 euros I think each session. We can recommend you a great physio in Haarlem if that's what your looking for. Even if the chiro estimates it will take around 6 weeks to improve its also your choice on what you want to do also. We never only offer a 6 week or 4 week program etc.. the program is always in consulttion with what you want. As long as you have realistic expectations about what to expect then it should always be your choice and ieven if you decide that chiropractic is not the option you choose wed love to help you find something that does suit you. Exercises would be a popular choice for many We also give exercise programs though with the care we provide. Often we don't recommend starting an exercise program on the same day as starting chiropractic care for a number of reasons (We wait for the spine to move better so it can benefit form the exercises more, we fear the exercise will cause more pain at the start etc......) If you were a client of ours though and we have your full history and we know what the diagnosis is we can easily send you an email with an exercise program with videos of each exercise and happy to run you through how to do them if you have any questions also. I didn't see a Kim in the agenda in the last few months so maybe this isn't possible Anyways give us a call take advantage of the free spinal check we can see if the 6 week prognosis is reasonable and even if you don't want to do chiropractic care maybe we can find the right option for you.
